A striking contemporary design in ashlar stone and glass. Situated on a restricted plot in heart of the campus, within a Conservation Area and adjacent to a Listed building, the project aimed to be both sympathetic and dramatic. This facility includes a traditional library, Internet Café, Lecture Theatre, Archive, glazed atrium, Reprographics and Tutorial Rooms. The building was nominated for a national Civic Trust Award by Chief Planning Officer.
