The £7.4m project created two new boarding houses connected by a common entrance and circulation core. Each house provides for approximately 60 pupils living in generously proportioned en-suite study bedrooms. The building utilises natural stack ventilation chimneys and under floor heating throughout. There is also accommodation for two House Masters, two Matrons and two House Tutors. This wonderful facility won a Civic Trust Award and was opened by HRH Duke of York in 2009.
