This £3.2m project to create a new Music and Art School was the largest project identified within the campus development plan designed by squiresandbrown. Facilities include traditional art studio spaces, textiles and digital media alongside music practice rooms, recording studio and a performance room with framed views across to York Minster. The building is physically connected to the Listed main school hall and includes many sustainable features such as; photovoltaic, rainwater harvesting, a super insulated shell and natural ventilation via solar chimneys.
